Proud sponsors of St Clere's football club under 14's

To sponsor someone is a privilege. Especially if it supports the local community and the exposure of women's football. That is why Lumic wanted to sponsor and support Essex based St Clere's under 14's girls football team.

 St Clere's FC was established in 2009 with just 6 teams and have now spread to 17 teams by the start of the season 2016/17. They now have over 300 players and hope they can be a part of bringing through the future David Beckham's or Steph Houghton's.

Our involvement with the under 14's side comes out of shear faith in supporting young people and local communities. We want to show our belief in the team and as we know many youth football teams struggle to get sponsorship as well as being able to fund these types of sports programs. Hopefully the girls wearing this years Lumic sponsored shirts will get a bit of a boost and help to reach their goals.

Lumic's Michelle Cross, known for her fundraising and cancer research support had this to say about scoring this sponsorship opportunity:

We are proud of our Essex roots and as a local business and employer, it is hugely important for us to support the local community. We are incredibly proud to support a volunteer organisation that allows local youngsters to participate in a sport in a safe and organised environment. Jen Ryder, the teams manager, has done a brilliant job and we wanted to show our support. All of the Lumic team wish the best of luck to the girls for the remainder of the season.
